By combining analytical tools with clinical expertise, MedPatterns employs an evidence-based approach to help payors achieve their specific goals. The program utilizes a highly configurable rules engine to identify, classify and stratify a population for any given condition. Output from MedPatterns can then be utilized to support care or disease management programs.

Refill Reminder Program
MedImpact's Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Refill Reminder Program uses interactive voice technology to conduct telephonic outreach to members. The program targets members who are late in refilling prescriptions in targeted classes of clinical importance to keep patients adherent to maintenance medications. Target medication classes include diabetes (Oral Agents), hypertension (RAS Agents) and cholesterol (Statins). Alternatively, clients may select different drugs or classes.
