General Manager, MedImpact Direct
Mike Simas joined MedImpact in June 2014 as the General Manager of MedImpact Direct, working out of the Tempe/Phoenix office. As the General Manager of MedImpact Direct, Mr. Simas is responsible for leading the startup and ongoing operation of the MedImpact Direct business. He directly manages or provides oversight for business operations, development and implementation of a robust technology platform, establishment of marketplace rules and securing fulfillment vendors.
MedImpact Direct is a first-of-its-kind mail and retail delivery system that will transform our company and will change the entire PBM industry. Building upon MedImpact's history of innovation, MedImpact Direct adds two exciting new dimensions to our company--fulfillment control coupled with patient engagement. This completely differentiates MedImpact in the marketplace.
Mr. Simas has more than 30 years of retail experience, including 23 years with Walmart. At Walmart, he spent his early years in Pharmacy Operations where he served as the Pharmacy Regional Manager overseeing the western states. In 2000, Mr. Simas was part of the leadership team responsible for launching Walmart.com. As Vice President of Merchandising for the Entertainment Division at Walmart.com, he led the general merchandise merchant team through many years of explosive revenue growth. In 2007, Mr. Simas moved into the role of Vice President of Site Merchandising, leading the team responsible for operating the frontend of the Walmart.com site.
Mr. Simas obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Pacific.
General Manager, SUNRx
Jill Simoes leads the executive management team for wholly owned subsidiary SUNRx ─ an innovator in managing 340B programs ─ as well as the company’s sales and account management organization. Ms. Simoes’ experience includes leading and developing sales and account management organizations as well as providing senior leadership in the managed care sector. Previously, Ms. Simoes had nationwide responsibility for the self-insured market segment of MedImpact. She also served as Vice President of Sales for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Pilgrim Health Care.
